Attorney Timothy Widman founded the Law Offices of Timothy D. Widman with the goal of providing the best possible legal representation available anywhere. The mission of the firm is to provide clients both the personalized experience typical of smaller firms with the resources and expertise commonly associated with bigger firms. Attorney Timothy Widman combines trial advocacy skills – honed in his previous life as a civil litigator – with years of business immigration and corporate immigration law experience to resolve his clients’ cases with speed and efficiency. The firm’s location near the heart of Silicon Valley and within walking distance of the Cupertino Civic Center reflects its commitment to serving the high tech community.
Attorney Timothy Widman’s practice includes: business immigration, employment-based immigration, family immigration and naturalization and citizenship cases.
Attorney Timothy Widman received his Bachelor’s degree in English, with Honors, from Vassar College in 1991. He earned his law degree from Tulane University Law School and was admitted to the California Bar in 1997. He has actively participated in the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and was elected Chapter Chair of the AILA Santa Clara Valley Chapter in 2015. Attorney Timothy Widman has served on AILA’s Ethics Committee and contributed articles and delivered presentations on immigration law and ethics at AILA conferences. Attorney Timothy Widman has also held positions of leadership with the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce, where he was its VP of Legislative Action Committee (LAC). He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Cupertino Library Foundation (CLF). He volunteers his time as a fee arbitrator for the Santa Clara County Bar Association. His personal interests include running, tennis and reading
